WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN I VISIT YPSILANTI BAPTIST TEMPLE:
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Our services start promptly at the times indicated above. We do serve some refreshments before the Sunday School hour, between the Sunday School and Morning Worship service, and at the end of service on Sunday mornings, so feel free to arrive early or stay a little later to enjoy some fellowship time.
WHERE DO I PARK?
We have plenty of parking available and it's all FREE! We have plenty of Handicap accessible parking available right at the entrance to the building. We are a "barrier free" friendly church!
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
You may dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable. Most of us dress casually, while some of us come in a coat and tie. We believe that God is more concerned with what is in our hearts than what is on our backs. The most important things for you to know is that you will be accepted as you are.
WHAT'S AVAILABLE FOR MY CHILDREN?
Our church ministers to you and your entire family. We have dedicated teachers who work with our little Toddlers during services; we have Sunday School classrooms for all age groups; and even have two separate Junior Church services being conducted during Morning Worship for children ages 3-13. In all of these classes, children are taught God's Word through stories, songs, special activities and crafts.
We have a Nursery available during all services and changing tables available in both the Men's and Women's restrooms for your convenience.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN I VISIT YPSILANTI BAPTIST TEMPLE?
We want to provide you with a place to escape the hustle and bustle of today's busy world, we want you to be able to unplug from the virtual world, and plug into God's Word and get encouraged by Him and His people. We sing hymns in our worship to God and have special singing in each service by members of our congregation and our choir.
Our services are centered on hearing from God through His Word and how we can make our walk in Faith deeper. We here at Ypsilanti Baptist Temple use the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, but you may bring the version with which you are most comfortable, even if it's on your tablet. So please, feel free to bring a Bible and come learn together with others just like you.
